In my latest article on the Daily Hiit (HERE) I explain why the deadlift is one of my all time favourite exercises. It helps to develop the entire core holistically, strengthen the forearm ‘crush grip’, builds broad muscle mass and encourages you to get functionally stronger. The deadlift also really works your cardio-respiratory stamina, develops your explosive strength and finally when performed correctly can encourage fewer injuries throughout an active life.
